Peplums and Pineapples : holidaying at carton house.

hey everyone!!

So i haven't posted in 'ages' i was saving the temptation for now, doing my holiday post!

So, Carton house is in Maynooth in Co.Kildare Ireland. I know, i know... not much of a place to be going if its only 40 minutes away from my house, but still it was amazinnngggg! There was so much greenery and it was so lush, i was about to cry! Carton house was only opened when i was 6 months old, so basically around 12-13 years ago.

It was awful looking when i was younger, when i came to visit it when i was five.. it still hadn't changed and was so not up to standards. But still i was looking forward to this lets say Getaway and was stoked to hear there was rainbow trout fishing!

I packed my bags, black peplum dress in! for the evening dinner, and as ready to go!! After listening to endless Taylor Swift songs and Yiruma piano playing all over again, we were driving down the driveway into Carton House at first all i saw was this huge green for golfers, and a small praire house and lake, obviously for the eager golfers to hit their balls over the lake, showing the "epic skills" they had!

We got closer, and all i could see now were really low down braches and then the most beautiful thing ever! A big old building, with a modern zest in it! Old stones against a glass wall and automatic doors! I felt like i was in the Cullen's from Twilight. As it was in a forest-y area!

We went for a 3k walk, and saw mud, mud and more mud. Then trees, trees and more trees.And then a tower! It was a huge tower.!! After we went for a swim and then dinner! Don't want to bore you with anymore writing so here are the pictures!
