the christmas wishlist 2013

So this year, i was really having troubles trying to pick out what i wanted for Christmas. But then at the beginning of December, i came to my decision. I desperately wanted a pair of original Timberlands! I think that these boots (although are working boots) are the most sophisticated go-with-everything boots. Not only do i love the mustard brown colour but i love the lacing on it. If you look at the laces, they are a mix between a red and a mustard yellow. Oh so cute! The next thing on my wishlist is a pair of tailored floral pants, i have been looking high and low for these pants, and simply cannot find them anywhere, probably because they only sell them during Spring and Summer! But still, i would just love to have a pair of these as they are just one of those pants that you can simply just throw on and not care what anything else looks like as the pants are the statement piece. The third thing on my list is Topshop's denim piece, a huuuggee product of the year, its their Denim Coat which is fur-lined and acid washed. Its the most retro thing i have seen this year, the two colours compliment one another and just makes things look really cute and dainty. The fourth thing on my wishlist, is Nars Red lipstick. I have been seriously obsessed with red lippy this year, and finally i am not afraid to wear it. The fifth thing, is the new Iphone 5s gold! I mean who wouldn't want this? I know i have the whit Iphone 4s, but i can't contain myself over this beauty. And last but not least is my sixth item which is SAKSFIFTHAVENUE collection of rings. I really wanted a rose gold and gold thing ring to just wear on a daily basis and found them. Although they aren't the cheapest and are quite dear, they seem to just attract me.

So that is it for my Christmas wishlist this year!

christmas preparation.

so if you are like my family.. a really crazed christmas family, then i think this post is for you. We start a christmas celebration at the end of November. And i mean some people think this is crazy, but if you think about it - if you are prepared you are better organized and if you are better organized then you don't have to worry about anything, and when you don't have to worry about anything well... then you can probably enjoy your Christmas better.

Also being brought up in an OCD environment, everything is done a couple of weeks earlier, bedrooms cleaned (even thought they are spotless) and the christmas cake is baked 8 weeks earlier, to add the frightening amount of Rum into it. (But thats tradition)

The Christmas tree is put up mid or end of November, and al the decor and christmas music starts to play.

I don't know what it is about Christmas, but its that time of year that you feel everything is free and a lot of people are happy FOR ONE ANOTHER!! Which can be odd, but oh so nice at the same time. Family gets closer, snow starts to fall and the endless cups of hot chocolate are served.

Hows everyones christmas been so far?
I can't believe that its 3 days till the 25th!!

So this candle by Jo Malone, is the most beautiful smelling candle, that i have ever smelt before, its so christmas-y and fresh. If you ever stop by a Jo Malone store, pick yourself up this beauty.

Ariana Inspired

So lately Miss Ariana Grande, has taken a serious appearance in the music industry. And not only with her superb music but also with her cute flattering style. Her toned body takes anything fitted, and lets say 'rosy'. Her statement piece, is the white stilettos, what people most know her by. 

She pairs her adorable skater skirts with some Keds normally, and wears plaid or checkered coats, skirts and dresses. As Ariana is a toned young girl, she can wear the cropped tops and sweaters with her skater dresses. 

The one thing, that i really love about her style is that it seems so effortless, and just.. CUTE! There is nothing more i really can say about it, other than she's my style icon of the year!

Japan.

So Japan was amazing.
Cold, and crisp was just what i was wanting, and what i got. Our next trip is to Flaine in France, we are going skiing for a week with my cousins.
When i arrived into Japan, there was such a lovely buzz from all the people there. They were all busy from getting groceries or last minute christmas shopping. It was the most amazing atmosphere. One thing that really amazes me about Japan, is that the people there are so unique and are proud of it. They all have their own style, way of living and versatility. Many of which some people find hard to come out with.

We visited the Golden Shrine Temple, in Kyoto. And the Ahaki in Tokyo, we even went to the Sony factory in Tokyo.

Since i have been there before, it was so nice to see such familiar things, and enjoy more things.

I thought i had more pictures of my outfits, but i don't. -- So in the picture that you see me, im wearing a Uniqlo beanie, in the 2010 A/W Collection.

white winter

So this winter everything has changed. When everything used to be the festive 'green and red' - now has changed to the plain yet so satisfying white. I even walk around in my new 'festive' outfits in white. White has been such a change in the A/W collection this year, people were actually surprised to see such a plain colour used. 

The trend has become so big, it has found its way to the countries down under (New Zealand and Australia) and its their summer!  The camouflaging colour is the boldest colour to date. 

The unfortunate thing is, that people disagree with this colour as its 'not festive enough', but i think one there is change everything is better.
